Tohoku Reconstruction Event 2018 - Learn, Eat, and Think about the Future of the Disaster-stricken Areas" at Shinagawa Season Terrace (MINATO CITY Tokyo) on Friday, June 15, 2018. In addition, we will share the opportunity to support and think with visitors, while also sharing the activities in the areas that Fujitsu Limited and our company have been involved in, in order to generate actions and ideas for future urban development in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

"Seven Years Since 3/11 - Current Situation in the Disaster-Affected Areas" "Thinking about the Future of the Disaster-Affected Areas through Photographs"
We will report on the state of the disaster-stricken areas through newspaper articles from the Kahoku Shimpo newspaper in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, covering three days, including March 11th of this year, as well as an exhibition of comparative photographs from the time of the disaster and its aftermath. We will share what has been achieved so far, as well as the challenges facing the disaster-stricken areas, which are still in the middle of their recovery. Now that seven years have passed since the disaster, we hope that this will provide an opportunity and hint to think again about "what can be done from now on."

"Fujitsu's Actions in Disaster-stricken Areas"
The Fujitsu Group has supported the recovery and reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas by providing advanced ICT technology that supports social infrastructure. We have also visited disaster-stricken areas and engaged directly with local residents through various activities. This panel exhibit will introduce the activities that the Fujitsu Group has undertaken in disaster-stricken areas. In order to continue to fulfill our social responsibilities, the Fujitsu Group will continue to make the most of ICT technology, co-create new value with our customers, and contribute to the realization of a society that is resilient against disasters.

"Tanseisha's Actions in the Disaster Areas"
We will introduce spaces and events that were born as a result of small actions that made use of Tanseisha's know-how and experience. Panels will be on display about spaces that were realized as a result of our own proposals, initiatives that began with the Yui no Ba regional recovery matching project, the revival of a museum long awaited by children in disaster-stricken areas, and the creation of a platform to support museums recovering from disasters. We have worked with people in disaster-stricken areas to convey memories, confront challenges, and create new value for the region. With passion and creativity, Tanseisha aims to solve the problems of society and our customers.
