Tanseisha will be participating as a member of the executive committee of the event "Universal Camp TOKYO 2019," which will be held at Shinagawa Season Terrace (MINATO CITY) from Friday, April 19th to Saturday, April 20th, 2019.
This event, now in its third year, is being held in order to spread a message to society at large, with the aim of creating a society in which everyone can live vibrantly together, regardless of age or disability, and is being held in collaboration with companies active in the Shibaura Konan area and people living in MINATO CITY and the local area.
For 14 years since 2005, we have been co-hosting "Universal Camp in Hachijojima" with the NPO Universal Event Association. "Universal Camp in Hachijojima" is an exchange event that brings together a variety of participants based on the concepts of normalization and diversity.
For "Universal Camp TOKYO 2019," the local government and businesses based in the Shibaura Konan area are collaborating as part of their social contribution activities in the region, providing an opportunity for diverse people to gather, interact, and understand each other in the city center, with the theme of "Community efforts to understand diversity and realize a symbiotic society."
Following on from last year, this year's event will be titled the "Diversity Management Conference" and will include a lecture by Ryoji Hoshika (Associate Professor, Barrier-Free Education Development Research Center, Graduate School of Education, The University The University of Tokyo) as well as an exchange program featuring our company's Hanako Higashinakagawa (Creative Director Design Center).
There will also be talk shows by world-class athletes and para-athletes, live music, and a wide range of other content, including introductions to the efforts of various companies and organizations in the fields of sports, art, leisure, etc. In the event plaza, you can participate in free para-sports experience programs such as "blind football," a five-a-side football game for the visually impaired, "sport climbing," and "marathon escort."
We look forward to seeing you all.
