Our designers will be speaking at the "2nd Facility Renovation EXPO" seminar

Our Design Center Principal Creative Director Jun Manai and Creative Director Yusuke Kenmochi will be speaking at the 2nd Facility Renovation EXPO, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from Wednesday, December 11th to Friday, December 13th, 2019.

The "Facility Renovation EXPO" is an exhibition that exhibits products and services for facility owners and managers, such as "Exterior/Design Building Materials," "Interior/Interior," "Public/Exterior," "Disaster Prevention/Crime Prevention," "Renovation Proposals," and "Facility Management Support." It is an exhibition that brings together equipment and materials necessary for the renovation of various facilities, including commercial facilities, public facilities, transportation facilities, schools, medical/welfare facilities, and accommodation facilities. It has become an essential exhibition for the Japanese construction industry, which is undergoing a major transition from the era of new construction to the era of stock utilization.

Two of our designers will be speaking at a specialized seminar titled "Creating lively, marketable spaces - Case studies of Commercial Spaces and Public Spaces." Using examples of spaces we have helped create, they will talk about future renovations to create "lively, marketable spaces."

Contents	Renovation not only solves existing problems, but also has the potential to add new value to a space while taking advantage of its cultivated history and background, leading to further business success. In this lecture, we will introduce examples of public-private partnerships such as commercial complexes and airports, and consider future renovations to create "bustling, sales-generating" spaces.
Speakers	Jun Manai (Design Center Principal Creative Director) Graduated from the Graduate School of Osaka University of Arts in 1989, he joined Tanseisha Co., Ltd. in the same year. He has accumulated experience and know-how in creating specialty stores, and has a long track record in designing hospitality spaces such as hotels and bridal facilities. He participates in the launch of new business formats and brand renewals from the planning stage, visualizing the business owners' thoughts and supporting the client's decision-making through design. Yusuke Kenmochi (Creative Director, Communication Design Department, Design Center) Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Hosei University in 2000, and joined Tanseisha Co., Ltd. in the same year. Involved in the creation of a wide range of spaces, including retail and restaurants, corporate Showrooms, and transportation infrastructure facilities such as airports, he handles a wide range of tasks, from research and analysis and branding to design. Always looking to the future from a holistic perspective, he aims to maximize the value of the space. After working at the Tokyo headquarters and a representative office in Shanghai, he has been working Kansai Branch (Osaka) since 2012.
