[Cancelled] "JAPAN SHOP 2020" will be exhibited and held as a seminar

  • Notice

Tanseisha will be exhibiting at JAPAN SHOP 2020, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from March 3rd (Tue) to 6th (Fri), 2020.

"JAPAN SHOP" is one of Japan's largest general retail trade fairs, showcasing products, materials, and services related to spatial design and display in stores and facilities. This year's theme is "the fusion of design and technology," and the event will propose attractive designs and comfortable space creation. In addition, the special exhibition "NIPPON Premium Design" will display products that embody traditional Japanese design and techniques.

At our booth at "NIPPON Premium Design," we will be collaborating with artists from "B-OWND," a new business venture, to take on the challenge of fusing traditional crafts, art, and spatial design.
"B-OWND" is a new platform for Japanese art and craft works that utilizes blockchain. Through this service, we aim to expand the Japanese art market, broaden the scope of activities for artists and craftspeople who are the "bearers of culture" in Japan, and contribute to the promotion of Japanese culture and arts.

Additionally, the organizers' seminar will feature a talk entitled "Crafts as Art x Spatial Design - New Possibilities Born from the Fusion of Traditional Crafts, Art, and Spatial Design," in which artists involved in creating the exhibition booths and our own designers will take to the stage.

We look forward to seeing you there.
