Our response to the spread of COVID-19 (February 28th edition)

In response to the spread of COVID-19, Tanseisha has decided to raise the level of its response from that announced in "Our company's response to the spread of COVID-19 (February 27th edition)."
In addition, in response to the request made by the Prime Minister at the government's COVID-19 Response Headquarters on February 27th for the temporary closure of all elementary, junior high, high schools, and special needs schools nationwide, we will be taking the following measures.

1. Basic Actions

・Wearing a mask is recommended
・Wash your hands, gargle, and disinfect your hands thoroughly
・Temperature checks are recommended

2. Working style

・Recommend working from home using the "telework system"
・Recommend staggered commuting times using the "shift work system"
・Encourage employees to take paid leave

3. Behavior inside and outside the company

・Use online meetings
 Face-to-face meetings should be kept to a minimum, and if they are held, they should be held within one hour with a minimum number of people.
・In principle, internal seminars and events that include people from outside the company are prohibited.
In principle, participation in external seminars, exhibitions, and banquets, as well as staying in places where a large number of people gather, are prohibited.
Avoid unnecessary outings and domestic business trips, and if unavoidable, travel with the smallest number of people possible.
・Overseas business trips are generally prohibited

4. What to do if you suspect infection

- If the employee or a family member living with them has traveled to China since January 15, 2020
- Prohibition on working at the workplace for 14 days after entering Japan (working from home is permitted)
・If the employee has cold symptoms such as fever
- Prohibit working at the workplace (telecommuting is permitted)
・If a family member living with you has cold symptoms such as fever
- Work from home
・If the employee has ① cold symptoms or a fever of 37.5℃ or higher for four consecutive days ② severe fatigue (fatigue) or shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
- Contact the "Returnees and Contact Consultation Center"

Going forward, we will continue to prioritize preventing infection both inside and outside the company and ensuring the safety of our employees and all those involved with the company, and will implement the necessary measures in cooperation with group companies. We will also strive to continue our business activities by utilizing various systems, tools, and IT environments that promote location-free work styles.
