We are releasing free of charge designs for interchangeable sheeting for face shields, which are essential as a preventative measure against COVID-19

  • Notice

We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all those who have been infected with COVID-19 and to all those whose lives have been affected by the spread of the infection. We would also like to express our gratitude and respect to all those who are supporting social activities, including medical professionals.

Tanseisha has designed a dress-up sheet for face shields, which are necessary as a preventative measure against the spread of COVID-19. This dress-up sheet can be attached to the top of the face shield and features illustrations of animals so that small children can enjoy wearing the face shield. We have decided to make the design of the dress-up sheet available free of charge so that it can be widely used by those who need it.

This dressing sheet was designed to support an initiative by Procter & Gamble Japan Co., Ltd. (P&G) and Hiroya Tanaka Laboratory at Keio University to produce and donate face shields made partly from recycled plastic (PP) made from used plastic containers of P&G products. Tanseisha was in charge of designing the dressing sheet that comes with the face shields and is cooperating by providing it free of charge. In addition to Tanseisha, S. Lab Co., Ltd., Nanodax Co., Ltd., and TerraCycle Japan LLC are also participating in this initiative. In cooperation with the National Association of Principals of Schools for the Deaf, the face shields were donated to schools for the deaf across the country after confirming the needs and acceptance of the materials on-site.

Kensuke Ando, Creative Director, Culture & Communication Design Division, Design Center

The dress-up sheets are easy to assemble, so we hope you will enjoy spending time at school or at home doing crafts and coloring. The animals featured in the sheet designs are all said to be in danger of extinction due to declining populations. We hope that while you enjoy dressing up, it will also serve as an opportunity to think about environmental issues around the world.
