Tanseisha will be co-hosting the event "Shibuya 2020. Experience the Everyday Life of Super Welfare (commonly known as the Super Welfare Exhibition)" (sponsored by the NPO People Design Institute) to be held from Wednesday, September 2nd to Tuesday, September 8th, 2020, and our employees will be speaking at a symposium.
The "Shibuya 2020. Let's Experience the Daily Life of Super Welfare" (hereafter referred to as "Super Welfare Exhibition") has been held for one week every year since 2014, mainly at Shibuya Hikarie, in an effort to remove the "mental barriers" against minorities, including people with disabilities, and against welfare itself. Our company has been cooperating with the predecessor event to the "Super Welfare Exhibition" since 2012, and has been co-hosting it since 2017. This year marks the final time, and we will be challenging ourselves to create a new type of exhibition and event by holding all exhibitions, symposiums, experience events, etc. online.
The symposium, which will be streamed on YouTube Live from the "8/" venue on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie, will feature a roundtable discussion entitled "The Future of Real Space" with four of our designers on Friday, September 4th, as well as a talk entitled "What will the office of the future be like where anyone can work?" (Okamura Corporation), and a guest speaker at the "Super Welfare Exhibition Closing Session (Part 2)" on the final day, Tuesday, September 8th.
Through the "Super Welfare Exhibition," we hope to contribute to promoting diversity and realizing a rich, diverse society by providing a place for rich experiences where diverse people, things, and information can interact.
We look forward to your participation.

Theme and Overview | "The Real World of the Future" At Tanseisha, we have been working in the real world as our business field, and have aimed to create spaces where many people can gather and interact, challenging ourselves with diversity and inclusive design. The COVID-19 pandemic has created extreme restrictions such as not being able to go outside or meet people, which has led to the questioning of the very existence of real spaces, and conversely, their value being reevaluated. On the other hand, the acceptance of online and virtual spaces has progressed at a rapid pace, and new technologies are being born one after another, opening up new possibilities from the perspective of "super welfare." How will future real spaces, especially places where people gather, share experiences, and interact, change with the coexistence of virtual reality and the introduction of technology? How should they be? We will hold a roundtable discussion with spatial producers, designers, and planners on this theme. |
