Tanseisha participated in the 2021 Spring/Summer collection presented by ANREALAGE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: MINATO CITY Tokyo / President and Chief Executive Ofcer: Kunihiko Morinaga / hereinafter referred to as ANREALAGE), the developer of the fashion brand ANREALAGE, at the Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2021, which is currently being held in digital format.
For ANREALAGE's new work, which creates personal spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tanseisha utilized its spatial creation technology and network to produce the frames that create the three-dimensional shapes.

Background of the initiative
Tanseisha has been in business partnership with ANREALAGE since 2019, aiming to realize a new fashion experience space that combines design and technical capabilities with technology in the fields of "fashion" and "space." This initiative was part of a co-creation project following the work "Tokyo 2021," which was unveiled at the art event "TOKYO2021" held in August of the same year.
About the Project
ANREALAGE's Spring/Summer 2021 collection is based on the theme of "HOME," and the clothes are like small architecture that expand one's "personal space" when worn. The 18 pieces, made up of six different shapes - sphere, tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron - are fitted with frames that create a space of one meter radius, effectively helping to maintain social distancing. Furthermore, by removing the frames of each object, the three-dimensional textiles are transformed into dresses and coats.
This project by ANREALAGE, which has created "individual space" by expanding the conventional act of "wearing clothes," and Tanseisha, which has embodied a "wearable space" by shrinking the "space" it has previously worked on, has expanded the realms of "fashion" and "space," presenting the next generation of clothing and space and diversity, and is an attempt to discover new possibilities in fashion and space.

The theme this time is HOME. When fashion becomes large, it becomes a space that people can enter, and when the space becomes small, it becomes fashion and can be worn. I believe that when we cross the boundary between clothing and shelter, which are the three necessities of life, something new is born. With the establishment of a social distance of 2m around myself, I have begun to feel like I am wearing even the space around me as my personal territory. This collection embodies that.
We asked Tanseisha to design and construct a frame to visualize the space. Fashion is like a skin that covers the surface, so we searched for a design that satisfied both the framework and the membrane. It worked as both a space and as fashion. We aimed for something in between.
This time, we focused on the personal individual, and produced a large piece of clothing and a small space through a co-creation project; however, the size of the space can also be made smaller or larger, so we hope to take this opportunity to provide a concept that can be worn in spaces of various scales.

As real-life interactions are restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the long-standing Paris Collection for women's fashion was held online for the first time. Seeing the opportunity to have Video Production carried out in Japan, we participated in the Paris Collection for the first time as a co-creation project with ANREALAGE to create a space. While fashion and space are required to coexist with the virtual, the value of real experiences is improving. We will continue to combine fashion, technology, and space to provide moving experiences. Please look forward to our continued co-creation with ANREALAGE to create spaces.
Designer Kunihiko Morinaga. Born in Kunitachi, Tokyo in 1980. Graduated from Waseda University's School of Social Sciences. While attending university, he attended Vantan Design Institute and began making clothes. In 2003, he started working under the name "ANREALAGE." ANREALAGE stands for A REAL-ordinary, UN REAL-unordinary, and AGE-era. He made his Tokyo Collection debut at Tokyo Tower in 2005, and won the Avant-Garde Grand Prize at the "GEN ART 2005" New York new designer contest in the same year. He continued working at the Tokyo Collection for 10 years, and in 2014, he moved on to the Paris Collection. In 2015, he was selected as a finalist for the "ANDAM FASHION AWARD" in France. In 2017, he held the "A LIGHT UN LIGHT" exhibition in Japan, which exhibited his works after the Paris Collection, and held a traveling exhibition at JAPAN HOUSE in LA and Sao Paulo. He has also participated in exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Rothschild Museum, and the Mori Art Museum. Selected as a finalist for the LVMH PRIZE in France in 2019. Award in 2019. Announced collaboration with Italy's FENDI at the Milan Collection in 2020. Responsible for the official uniforms of the Japan Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2021.
