IM has announced the results of the Museum Character Awards 2022

IM [Internet Museum] (hereinafter referred to as "IM"), a comprehensive museum information site operated by Tanseisha, closed voting for the "Museum Character Awards 2022", which determines the most popular museum character in Japan, at 12:00 on September 8, 2022, and announced the final results.

The grand prize winner, receiving 30,031 votes, was "Moon Dad" from the Yunooku Gold Mine Museum in Kai Kogane Village (Yamanashi Prefecture).
IM plans to publish a special feature entitled "Grand Prix Special: Visiting Kai Kogane Village and Yunooku Gold Mine Museum" at a later date.

Museum Character Awards 2022 Results

The results of the newly established "Newcomer Award" and "SNS Award" are as follows:

Newcomer Award 1st place: "Kokutanuki" Seal Museum (Ibaraki Prefecture) ... 9,334 votes
SNS Award 1st place: "Hirog" Hiroshima University Museum (Hiroshima Prefecture) ... 247 likes

"Museum Character Award About
