Tanseisha will begin offering "saguroot" on May 16th. Saguroot is a knowledge management tool that uses AI to search across multiple documents to encourage companies to utilize valuable information that is lying dormant within their companies.
"saguroot" is a tool developed for organizations and companies involved in R&D, innovation, and planning work, to find in-house knowledge and talent. It has realized intuitive and efficient searches through a user-oriented UX design that utilizes the information organization know-how of Tanseisha, which handles many exhibition facilities such as museums. By utilizing the AI solution "Azure AI" provided by Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: MINATO CITY, Tokyo / President and Chief Executive Ofcer: Miki Tsusaka / hereinafter Microsoft Japan), it has become possible to perform full-text searches including text and images within documents.
The spread of teleworking triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic has led to fewer contacts between employees within the company, resulting in lost opportunities to share knowledge. "Saguroot" visualizes useful information accumulated within the company through document searches and the human resources with related knowledge, thereby inducing internal communication and supporting corporate innovation.

With the COVID-19 pandemic restricting employees from coming to the office, sharing knowledge within the company became an issue. As the conventional document search system was not capable of full-text searches of documents or proposals that used a lot of graphics, the opportunity to develop a new system for the company, "saguroot", became the impetus for the development.
We conducted a demonstration experiment using "Azure AI" together with Microsoft Japan, which is also a member of the "Point 0 Committee" like us. The results were well received both within the company and the "Point 0 Committee", so we thought it might be useful for companies with similar concerns and decided to develop it as a service. In providing "saguroot", not only is AI used, but our company's know-how in organizing and planning information for exhibitions in museums and Showrooms is also utilized to find valuable information from large amounts of data.
We hope that this service will help support innovation at a variety of companies.

"saguroot" utilizes cutting-edge AI technology to meet advanced search needs that are difficult to achieve using only traditional full-text search techniques.
When the desired information is available in the right places and can be utilized by the right people, all the pieces are in place to create great value for your company.
Tanseisha's "customer-centric UX design" that they have cultivated in the field of "spatial design" combines ease of use that fully captures user needs with design excellence.
IT companies tend to think in terms of "addition," but Tanseisha designs its products with a "subtraction" approach. More information is not always better; Tanseisha develops its products from the perspective that by deliberately reducing the amount of information available, users can quickly find the information they really need.
We hope that this groundbreaking solution, which applies the design thinking cultivated in "spatial design" to the software world of knowledge and document sharing, will be used by many more companies to make better use of information.
