Tanseisha will hold a traveling event celebrating the 16th anniversary of virtual singer Hatsune Miku, "Hatsune Miku PROMISE - A Promise for 16 Years Old," at three venues in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kobe from Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Tickets for designated dates and times (online tickets) will go on sale from Wednesday, July 5 for the Tokyo and Yokohama venues, and from Thursday, October 5 for the Kobe venue.

Through this event, Tanseisha will act as a bridge between the "culture" of Hatsune Miku and many "people," creating new communication.
Background of the event
As part of its facility management business, Tanseisha Produce a comprehensive range of services, including facility management itself and associated service businesses such as food, beverages and retail sales. By being directly involved in local revitalization and human resource development through its business, the company aims to "create spaces that move people's hearts" and "create better spaces for social interaction."
The final venue of this event, the Kobe Maritime Museum, is operated by our company as the designated manager, and we will use this event as an opportunity to promote both the appeal of Hatsune Miku and the attraction of the facility. This will be the first time in five years that a Hatsune Miku-related event will be held at a facility operated by our company, since the Hatsune Miku Figure Exhibition at the Yokohama Doll Museum in 2018.
Event Overview
The exhibition will feature a 16-year timeline of Hatsune Miku, which was created with the hopes and dreams of many people and continues to evolve, a life-size statue, and participatory projects. In addition, original goods featuring illustrations drawn specifically for this event and special benefits for visitors will be available. The exhibition will be held at three locations that are easy to access for those who have loved Hatsune Miku for a long time, those who have recently become fans, and those who will become fans in the future. (The exhibition method and contents will differ depending on the venue.)
To ease congestion, a time-designated reservation system will be implemented every 60 minutes. Tickets are only sold on the "Hatsune Miku PROMISE" website (https://www.hatsunemiku-promise.com/), and reservations can be made for specific dates and times.

Event highlights
(1) The transparent main visual, which is reminiscent of the port of the venue, was drawn by “Merunomeru”
Illustrator "Merunomeru" has drawn a new illustration based on the theme of the ports of Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kobe, depicting a "princess of the sea." The transparent, vibrant costumes that evoke the ocean are full of attention to detail with a marine theme. A large number of original goods will be sold, both in life-size and SD (super deformed) designs.

What is "Hatsune Miku"? https://piapro.net/
Developed in 2007 by Crypton Future Media, Inc., this singing synthesis software allows users to make a song by inputting lyrics and a melody. It became a huge movement when many creators posted music they made with Hatsune Miku on the internet, and now she is active in many fields as a "virtual singer."
The Hatsune Miku world tour series "MIKU EXPO", which has been running since 2014, has performed a total of 68 shows in 30 cities around the world. In addition, the largest event in Japan, "Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai", which combines 3DCG live performances with a special exhibition where you can experience the fun of creation, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2022. Various other related events have been held both in Japan and overseas, and Miku has collaborated with famous artists, such as appearing as the prima donna in Tomita Isao's "Symphony of Ihatov" and "Doctor Coppelius", and performing as the opening act for Lady Gaga's 2014 North American tour.
In addition, she has contributed to activities to spread Japanese traditional culture, such as performing in traditional performing arts such as Kabuki and Bunraku puppet theatre, and collaborating with Fuyuki Kosode and Mikaeri Bijinzu to support cultural property restoration projects. She was selected as a "candidate for national treasures 150 years from now" at Tokyo National Museum 's "National Treasures 150 Years from Now Exhibition."
