We will be participating in the Matsue Dandan Terrace Talk Relay, an event related to Matsue Suidoro 2023.

  • Notice

Our planners and designers will be participating as panelists in the Matsue Dandan Terrace Talk Relay, a related event to Matsue Suidoro 2023 (sponsored by the Matsue Light-up Caravan Executive Committee (within the Matsue Tourism Association, a general incorporated association)), which will be held in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture from Saturday, September 23rd to Sunday, October 15th, 2023.

To improve our creative capabilities, we have been receiving ongoing support from lighting designer Uchihara Satoshi as our "creative partner." In 2022, Uchihara was invited as a lecturer, and a total of eight of our planners and designers participated in the in-house training program "Matsue Light Project." In addition to lectures and workshops on regional revitalization and design using light four times a year, we also visited Matsue City and "Matsue Suito-ro 2022," and conducted interviews and meetings with Matsue City's Tourism association and related parties. As a final assignment, we drafted a "light proposal" for Matsue City.

At this talk relay to be held on Saturday, September 30th, Rentaro Maebashi, planner in our Design Center Planning Department, and Miyako Yamane, chief designer in the Area Design Department, will present a "Light Proposal" to the people of Matsue city. They will share ideas that emerged from the training program and talk about the charms of Matsue city that they experienced and felt through the project.

We look forward to seeing you all there.
