Details of the new contest-type project "KNOCK"

"KNOCK" is a year-round project on the online media "Design no Tobira," and is a platform where companies and organizations can have deep and long-lasting connections with high school students through the story of the contest, which involves soliciting and submitting works, judging, and awarding prizes.

In this project, various companies and organizations will periodically present a "theme (contents of the contest)," and high school students will submit works in response to the theme that is published at that time. Companies and organizations will be able to obtain fresh and creative works with free ideas, and high school students will be able to deepen their awareness of their companies and industries. For high school students, learning about various industries and companies through submitting their works will be useful for career choices, future internships, and job hunting.

As the first step, JDN INC. Inc. is accepting submissions for the main graphic to be displayed on the official page of this project until 3:00 p.m. on August 30th.
JDN INC. is looking forward to receiving applications for the first theme as well as companies and organizations that will submit themes for the second and subsequent phases.

Background and purpose of the service

This project began as an idea from the person in charge, inspired by the feedback he received from companies and schools he encountered through his media operations.

The design industry that JDN INC. comes into contact with on a daily basis is becoming increasingly segmented, making it difficult for high school students to imagine a specific future that suits them. Therefore, we launched "KNOCK" to provide a place where companies and organizations can communicate about their companies and the industry, and for high school students to learn about the industry through applications.

There are various methods for creating connections, such as workshops, but a contest is open to participants from all over Japan and also allows for real-life contact with the winning high school students.

Future developments

JDN INC. will continue to work to connect young people with the design and creative industries through the "KNOCK" contest. We look forward to companies and organizations participating in this initiative.
