Tanseisha will be co-hosting the event "Super Welfare School @ SHIBUYA 2024" (sponsored by NPO People Design Institute) to be held at CUBE 1, 2, 3 and COURT on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie "8/" from Thursday, October 24th to Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 (※), and will be responsible for organizing and producing the exhibition and exhibiting our own original exhibition content.
*The event will be held at COURT from Friday, October 25th to Sunday, October 27th.
"Super Welfare School" is a forum event that has been held since 2018, co-hosted by the NPO People Design Institute and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, with the aim of realizing a society in which people can learn and live together, regardless of whether they have a disability or not.
The "Super Welfare Exhibition (official name: 2020, Shibuya. Let's Experience the Daily Life of Super Welfare)," which ended in 2020, will be renewed as "Super Welfare School @ SHIBUYA" from 2021, sponsored by the NPO People Design Institute, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and Shibuya Ward. Our company has been cooperating with the predecessor event of "Super Welfare School" since 2012, and will co-sponsor it again this year, following last year.
The symposium held at COURT will feature a diverse range of speakers who go beyond the traditional frameworks of disability welfare and education. Connecting online with not only Japan but also overseas, we will disseminate specific examples and actions related to cutting-edge school education, inclusive education, lifelong learning, and more from Shibuya.
CUBE1, 2, and 3 will feature the "Super Welfare Library," an exhibition and experience space that brings together inclusive play equipment, accessible books, technology, art, music, and other content. The "Super Welfare Library" will present a new way of creating indoor public spaces where people can play and learn using their five senses and enjoy themselves while mingling together.
As original exhibit content, we will be installing "VisualTiles®," an interactive information viewing system developed as a tool for viewing information such as exhibit content on a touch panel. We will also be exhibiting "YU-MO," diversity content developed by a deaf employee that allows visitors to experience the daily life of a hearing-impaired person, and "YU-MO Light," a smart light equipped with an AI-controlled smart switch that can turn the light on and off by finger spelling recognition.
Also, following on from last year, the space has been designed based on the ideas behind the "Tanseisha 'Heart-throbbing Five Senses Signs' Development Project."
At the symposium, our employees will be speaking at the "YU-MO Development Project" on Sunday, October 27th from 11:00 to 12:30. Through this event, we hope to contribute to promoting diversity and realizing a rich, diverse society by providing a place for rich experiences where diverse people, things, and information can interact.
We look forward to seeing you there.
