Mikio Furukawa, Producer of the Business Development Division of our Business Development Center and Editor-in-Chief of IM, will be speaking at the event "Reviving Japanese Memories through Digital Art" (hosted by the NHK Foundation and GMO Global Studios, Inc.), which will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, and will offer an opportunity to experience future Business Development Headquarters and the fusion of art and LED displays.
At this event, digital museum content developed by the NHK Foundation will be screened on a giant 500-inch LED display permanently installed in the GMO Global Studio. You can experience the appeal of cultural content that combines the real and virtual worlds along with talks by experts.
In addition, each session at the event will delve deeper into the exhibition methods and aims unique to digital, with guests providing commentary.

Mikio Furukawa
Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1966. Joined TANSEISHA Co., Ltd. in 1990. Engaged in spatial design and the launch and operation of owned media at the Head Office Design Center and JDN Co., Ltd. Has been in current position since 2011. Continues to cover approximately 200 museums a year.
