Norihiro Suganami, General Manager of the Marketing and Sustainability Division at the Marketing and Sustainability Center, will be speaking at the "Palette Seminar: Creating the Region and the Future - What is a Community with Sustained Interaction and Co-creation? - Considering Creating a Space for Local Businesses and Individuals to Stay Connected," which will be held as a hybrid Marketing & Sustainability Headquarters and online streaming on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
"Palette" is a seminar-style platform established by the Regional Circulation Future Research Institute, where local governments, companies, organizations, and individuals active in the local community can come together, regardless of their positions or interests, to share their thoughts and concerns about the "future of the local community," learn from each other, and create together.
The seminar will focus on the formation of networks and communities between multiple organizations, companies, and employees, and how to create systems that sustain co-creation.
We look forward to your viewing.

| Contents | While local issues continue to grow more complex, solutions are becoming increasingly difficult to find through the efforts of governments or single organizations alone. In light of this situation, attention has been focused in recent years on the potential of "spaces" and "communities" where companies and their employees can engage with local communities across borders, learn from each other across departments and companies, and share their experiences. It is becoming increasingly important for engagement to evolve beyond one-off measures and into continuous co-creation, including daily opportunities for information exchange, events, and mutual participation in learning spaces. However, creating spaces and managing communities presents unique challenges. Many people have likely experienced issues such as differences in participants' enthusiasm and goals, weakened relationships, rigid relationships between organizers and participants, difficulty in seeing results, and events ending up as little more than an exchange of information. Therefore, this time, we hope to learn and discuss together, drawing on the practical knowledge of community building and management among companies, organizations, and employees, and inviting experts to participate. On the day, participants will not only share success stories, but also common frustrations and stumbling blocks that often arise in the field, with the aim of giving them back tips that they can use in their own organizations and projects. |
