Tanseisha will be holding the "Future Space Design Competition" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") on Wednesday, September 1st, inviting submissions of freely imagined spatial designs for the future, whether virtual, real, or both, that "may not yet be realized, but that we would like to experience." In this competition, we will explore the possibilities of spaces and spatial experiences that will give birth to new experiences and emotions, and will disseminate to society the new forms of space that will be required in the future.
This time, the theme of the experience in the "Future Space" is "FUN," and we are calling for designs and ideas for spaces that we would like to see in the future that utilize the best of both real and virtual, online spaces that amplify the appeal of real experiences, real spaces that accelerate online experiences, or spaces that realize experiences that can only be had in the virtual world. We look forward to your challenges in creating new spaces that enhance the experience through the power of technology and design, including technologies that are likely to be realized in the future, and create emotions that go beyond the means.

Background of the event
Online experiences have accelerated due to the pandemic, while physical experiences involving bodily sensations have come into focus in an environment where activities in real spaces are restricted. Furthermore, the possibilities for "experiences to be enjoyed in space" are expanding, such as by linking these together. At Tanseisha, we are seeing an increase in opportunities to work on real and virtual spaces that leverage our strengths in spatial design that encourage physical experiences, and in addition to the know-how we have gained from working on a variety of spaces as Comprehensive display business, we continue to take on new challenges that are not bound by conventional "spatial creation," but can only be created with free thinking.
Therefore, by hosting this competition, Tanseisha hopes to create an opportunity for more people to participate in the creation of new spaces, allowing them to experience the freedom and joy of "space creation," while also discovering and supporting the "space creation professionals" of the future. In addition, together with the "Next Generation Store Idea Contest 2021," which Tanseisha has been holding since July 21, we aim to foster a sense of expectation for the spaces of the future.
