Danshosha will hold the "Human Development Project Exhibition 2023" at its head office Creative Meets from Tuesday, August 22nd to Thursday, August 31st, 2023, and at Kansai Branch (Osaka) Creative Meets from Monday, September 4th to Friday, September 8th, 2023.

This exhibition, now in its 13th year, will convey Tanseisha's approach and commitment to human resource development through products created together with leading designers and craftsmen as part of the "Product Production" program, the core program of the "Human Resource Development Project," which is undertaken as part of the training for new employees.

The internal results presentation (held on July 21st)

For the past three years, due to the impact of COVID-19, most of the training was conducted at home under the telework system. This year, following a change in the government's basic policy, new employees will be able to choose where to work depending on the situation, and will receive training while combining work in the office or on-site with work at home.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to place even more importance on the circle of connections between people ("wa"), so we set a common theme for this year's product production, the single hiragana character "wa." Each team interpreted the theme from various perspectives and completed product production through repeated dialogue with designers and partner companies. Please take a look at how our new employees grasped and shaped the concept of "wa."

What is the Human Resource Development Project?

The Human Resource Development Project is an original practical training for new recruits that consists of "introduction training" and "work guide" to get to know the company and learn the basic knowledge necessary for business promotion, and "product production" to put manufacturing into practice. The purpose is to experience various difficulties through actual manufacturing, acquire basic knowledge according to the characteristics of the work, and prepare for practical work after assignment.
In the "product production" program, which is the core of this project, new recruits will work in teams to experience difficulties similar to those encountered in the real world, such as reaching consensus and building relationships with stakeholders, and managing quality, costs, and delivery dates. By overcoming these challenges as their own responsibility and seeing the product through to completion, new recruits will gain their first experience of success.
