Details of the content that can be experienced at "Cho Bunkasai 2023" (hereinafter referred to as "this event"), a research results presentation event for the "Independent Practice Project" promoted mainly by young people, hosted by Tanseisha, have been decided.
This event, which will be held over three days from Wednesday, December 13th to Friday, December 15th, 2023, will feature young employees from Tanseisha's Cross Media Innovation Headquarters * and external partners announcing their efforts to create new "experiential value." The event will be held at Tanseisha's headquarters and the nearby Konan Lab Mark Three [Mk_3].
At this event, you can enjoy six original contents created for "Cho Bunkasai 2023", including "Cleaning Kaiju Kawashinan" (with cooperation from Mankind Games Inc. and SURD Inc.), in which you can feel like a monster while cleaning up the city through AR games and surround sound, and "Goodbye, Hello" (with cooperation from GRINDER-MAN), a media art piece that makes use of real-time generation.
Tanseisha will continue to take on the challenge of combining the technology and know-how to "create space" with technology and ideas to "add color to time," such as ICT and Spatial Production techniques, in order to expand the new possibilities of space.
* Cross Media Innovation Headquarters (Cross Media Innovation Center): A team of specialists in spatial Spatial Production established within Tansei in February 2017. By combining technology, ideas, diverse personalities and expertise, the team pursues the possibilities of space and creates moving experiences that move people's hearts.
AR Game x 3D Sound "Cleaning Beast Kawashinan" [Cooperation: Mankind Games Co., Ltd., SURD Co., Ltd.]
When you hold a tablet over the map on the floor, the city will appear in AR. It's a game where you pretend to be the cleaning beast Kawashinan and clean up the city by holding up your tablet. The 3D sound creates a more realistic experience. We worked on the game concept, scenario, character design, and Video Production, with SURD Inc. handling the sound and Mankind Games Inc. co-developing the app.
Real-time generative media art work "Goodbye, Hello" [Cooperation: GRINDER-MAN]
This is an experiential art piece in which Video of the behavior of multiple participants is converted into a loop Video in real time. By capturing the actions of "entering" and "exiting" through a single door, the daily "goodbyes" and "hellos" are expressed as a single Video (only employees participated in the filming). In creating content that made use of a green screen studio, we focused on media art that is generated in real time. We were responsible for the planning and construction of the distribution system, and GRINDER-MAN, who specializes in media art works, cooperated in System Development.

1. Konan Town Stroll AR Map "Walk to Mk_3"
Navigate the route from the head office to Konan Lab Mark Three [Mk_3] with AR content. We were in charge of everything from character design and modeling to the development of the app using the recently popular technology [Visual Positioning System].
2. Mirror display guide "me-Light"
The solution uses a large half mirror mounted with a 55-inch monitor and has two uses: AI-controlled smart switch lighting that recognizes finger spelling, and avatar customer service. The smart switch lighting was planned and developed by our own employees. For the avatar customer service, we had Panasonic System Design Co., Ltd. animate the movements and expressions of the characters we created.

3. Immersive content x a world without sound: "YU-MO"
This immersive content uses a three-sided display to allow you to experience the daily life of a hearing-impaired person. During the experience, noise and background music are played to evoke the way hearing-impaired people hear, and no voices or sounds can be heard. Use your senses other than hearing to decipher the finger alphabet based on the hints. Everything from planning to illustrations, graphics, and animation production was done by our company.
4. AR Game x 3D Sound "Cleaning Beast Kawashinan"
In the year 2XXX, you see a job advertisement.
"It's an easy job that anyone can do! We're looking for a few people to do part-time street cleaning."
Control the monster-type cleaning special suit [Kawashinan] and "clean up" the T1-MK district! A game that lets you feel like a monster with AR and 3D sound. Experience the "modified" cleaning beast that cleans the city.

5. Real-time generative media art work "Goodbye, Hello"
There are partings and there are meetings. This exit was actually an entrance.
If you pay attention to your everyday behavior, you will notice something.
Try putting your everyday life into 20 seconds at a single door. We'll polish the knob and wait for you.
*Only company employees can participate in the shoot. Anyone from outside the company can observe the shoot and view the results.

6. Digital interactive sports game "AIR Air Hockey®"
As the first part of our independent practice project in January 2022, we converted AIR Air Hockey®, which was presented at our headquarters Creative Meets using a projector projection method, to a monitor table method. Due to changes in the field size and hardware, we are handling revisions and considerations for graphics and content, and adjustments to animations.

Original characters from Cross Media Innovation Headquarters will appear on the Konan Town Stroll AR map "Walk to Mk_3" and the mirror display guide "me-Light" to liven up the experience.
