Tanseisha will hold the "Human Development Project Exhibition 2024" at its head office Creative Meets from Tuesday, August 20th to Friday, August 30th, 2024, and at Kansai Branch (Osaka) Creative Meets from Tuesday, September 3rd to Friday, September 6th, 2024.
This year marks the 14th time the exhibition has been held, and it will showcase the learning and growth of new employees through products they have created together with leading designers and craftsmen in the "Product Creation" program, the core program of the "Human Resource Development Project" that is part of the training for new employees. It will also convey Tanseisha's approach and commitment to human resource development. This year, six teams will exhibit six products.

The internal results presentation (held on July 19th)
In February 2024, Tanseisha formulated "Purpose/Our Reason for Existence" and "Values/Our Values" as the new group philosophy for the Tanseisha Group. In addition, Tanseisha re-identified "respect for people" as one of its materialities (important issues) on which it should particularly focus, and is working to provide spaces and experiences that "inspire" diverse users, as well as to create an environment where diverse employees can recognize each other and thrive.
In creating this product, we asked ourselves, "Who is it for?", so we set the theme as "For whom?" and proceeded with the production from the user's perspective. Please take a look at the trajectory of a new employee who continued to face the question "For whom?" in his first job.
What is the Human Resource Development Project?
The Human Resource Development Project is an original practical training for new recruits that consists of "introduction training" and "work guide" to get to know the company and learn the basic knowledge necessary for business promotion, and "product production" to put manufacturing into practice. The purpose is to experience various difficulties through actual manufacturing, acquire basic knowledge according to the characteristics of the work, and prepare for practical work after assignment.
In the "product production" program, which is the core of this project, new recruits will work in teams to experience difficulties similar to those encountered in the real world, such as reaching consensus and building relationships with stakeholders, and managing quality, costs, and delivery dates. By overcoming these challenges as their own responsibility and seeing the product through to completion, new recruits will gain their first experience of success.
