On August 4, 2025, Tanseisha and Ritsumeikan University (located in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City; President: Nakatani Yoshio) signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with the aim of co-creation across multiple fields, including education, research, and human resource development.
This agreement was made possible by the resonance between the concept of CX (Creative Transformation), which Ritsumeikan University has set for its College of Design and Arts*/Graduate School, which is scheduled to open in April 2026, and one of Tanseisha's corporate values: "Moving beyond the present - continuing to take on challenges while growing and transforming ourselves through flexible thinking and creativity."
*Installation is currently under planning (the installation plan is tentative and subject to change)
Tanseisha and Ritsumeikan University aim to go beyond simply combining needs and seeds to build a sustainable co-creation model that combines implementation capabilities and practicality by integrating academic perspectives. As partners sharing a future-oriented vision, the two will continue to collaborate creatively and constructively, working across the boundaries between education and corporate activities to create new social value based on spatial Experience Design.
Specific Initiatives

Establishment of DESIGN ART GUILD
The two companies will launch "DESIGN ART GUILD," a hub to foster this partnership, creating opportunities for practical problem-solving through spatial Experience Design and aiming to systematize spatial Experience Design through joint research, while also building an ecosystem of knowledge and practice that will produce businesses and talent for the next generation. DESIGN ART GUILD will be based at Ritsumeikan University's College of Art and Design and, by incorporating Tanseisha's spatial creativity, will function as a co-creation field where research and implementation, education and business creation intersect.
Practical learning
Both parties will continuously contribute their knowledge and resources to DESIGN ART GUILD, and through joint research, lectures, and seminars, they will tackle spatial Experience Design in response to market and social issues. This will foster practical problem-solving skills, and create problem-solving opportunities by returning the results of their research to society.
Systematization of spatial Experience Design
By accumulating practical spatial Experience Design, we will systematize it as an initiative to create social value for "spatial Experience Design," and through this cross-disciplinary learning, we will cultivate broad creative thinking skills. By addressing the issues that become clear through this systematization, we aim to improve corporate business operations and develop new solutions, as well as improve businesspeople's design skills and improve management through design management.
Business creation and human resource development
Through practical efforts in spatial Experience Design and the systematization of that knowledge, we will continue to promote joint research and seminars based at DESIGN ART GUILD, create highly effective business ideas in collaboration with companies, and develop programs that will lead to the return of educational and research results to society. Through this cycle of activities, we will realize business creation and human resource development for the next generation of spatial Experience Design.
