Tansei Co., Ltd. has achieved the highest rank, "Platinum," in version 2 (v2) of the "WELL Building Standard™ (hereinafter, WELL certification)," an international evaluation system for buildings that focus on people's health and well-being, at its Shinagawa headquarters. The company was certified in six "Innovation" categories, the most in Japan (*1), and received bonus points in the "Neuroinclusion (Multisensory Design)" category (*2), which was newly established in the WELL certification in 2025, making it the first in Japan (*1).

Background to obtaining certification: Practicing well-being and creating a workplace that reflects our company's unique values.
The Tanseisha Group believes that the diverse personalities and creativity of its employees are its most important management resources. We believe that an environment where each employee feels fulfilled both physically and mentally, and where they can experience job satisfaction and the joy of their work, is the foundation for healthy growth. As a symbolic initiative toward realizing our "Wellbeing Management Policy," established in August 2025, we have achieved WELL certification, a world-standard assessment of healthy spaces. At the same time, we express our corporate stance as professionals in space creation and a group of challengers who continuously explore the possibilities of spaces and themselves through our achievement of "the first WELL certification platinum rank in the display industry" and our commitment to new certification and innovation items.
*1: Information as of April 8, 2026.
Based on the track record of projects in which Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. provided consulting services for obtaining WELL certification.
*2: This refers to the idea of respecting individual differences in brain and nerve development and function (neurodiversity) as unique characteristics and aiming for a society where people can work together by making the most of these differences.

Concept: 'layering colors' - constantly evolving by layering a variety of "colors" -
In this project, based on Tanseisha's purpose, "To paint the future from space and add color to people and society," we are creating an environment where individuals can freely choose based on the concept of neuroinclusion. Rather than completely renovating our existing office, which has always been attentive to our employees, we achieved a top-class certification score of 96 points through partial renovations that did not involve closing off areas, such as improving the sound environment and enhancing rest and exercise areas. Rather than simply adopting new things, we aim to further evolve as a company by adding the "color" of new values to the corporate culture we have cultivated so far, and by achieving both increased productivity and "happiness at work."
Representative initiatives of this project
This project, based on our ongoing collaborative activities and solution development, has received certification in six "innovation" categories, the most in Japan. Furthermore, it has earned bonus points in the "neuroinclusion" category, a first in Japan.

*Please refer to the attached document in the release PDF for details on each item.

<Design features in creating spaces for neuroinclusion>
We provide spaces with both "low stimulation" (reducing stimulation) and "high stimulation" (adding stimulation), offering them in both work environments (office and meeting areas) and non-work environments (rest areas).
Sustainability initiatives in this project
In this project, we will utilize wood from the co-creation project "(tentative name) Shingohan" (*3), which regenerates small-diameter trees into high-value-added building materials, produce desktop panels by upcycling workwear, and implement carbon offsetting for CO2 emissions (approximately 90 tons) (*4) in order to achieve carbon neutrality through space creation.
*3: This project, involving Tree to Green, Salt Terminal, Takenaka Corporation, and our company, is a core initiative of the "Kiso Forest Grand Cycle Concept," which aims to build a circular economy utilizing the forest resources of the Kiso region. It focuses on plywood manufacturing and interior material processing.

*4: The calculation scope takes into account emissions from raw materials to the manufacturing stage and transportation of products procured during the renovation. Emissions are calculated based on values provided by suppliers and our own calculation results. IDEA is used as the unit consumption database for our own calculations.
Towards the social implementation of 'layering colors': Development of spatial construction know-how
Based on the results of this project, including obtaining WELL certification and realizing a well-being-oriented workplace and work style, as well as our efforts toward neuroinclusion and sustainability, we will use our own office practices as a model case to promote the implementation of total solutions, from strategy and planning to operational improvements, toward realizing a society where people with diverse personalities can shine together. We will also be hosting a webinar and office tour to introduce the initiatives of this project.
