We are pleased to announce that the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center in Shizuoka Prefecture, which we helped create the space, has won the Gold Award at the 52nd Japan Sign Design Awards (sponsored by the Japan Sign Design Association). In addition, the "Gifu Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum" won the Silver Award, and the following examples were selected for each Award.
This award is a well-known honor in the industry, and aims to promote and raise awareness of sign design. High-quality sign design works are solicited, judged, and awarded to outstanding works. We would like to express our gratitude to our customers who gave us this opportunity, as well as to everyone who cooperated with us throughout the various processes.
Going forward, we will continue to keep in mind the perspective of those who will use the space and work to create rich spaces that can contribute to our customers' businesses.

[Design intent]
Inside the "upside-down Fuji" exhibition building, visitors climb the slope and experience climbing Mount Fuji, surrounded by time-lapse panoramic Video of the scenery that can be seen from each altitude, from the sea to the plains to the fifth station, the tree line, and the summit, all while being surrounded by the local environmental sounds. The symbolic exterior and the experience of "entering = worshipping" Mount Fuji, an object of worship, are inseparably linked to form a "sign that invites thoughts of Mount Fuji." A new form of universal design has been realized that allows everyone, including foreigners, to experience Mount Fuji without the addition of explanatory text or narration.

First Fuji, second Hawk, third Eggplant: designing the most auspicious sign.
Experiencing Mt. Fuji. Climbing Mt. Fuji is something that everyone imagines, but this item can easily become cliché. By using the interior space of the symbolic "upside-down Fuji," this Spatial Production was realized, and it became the strongest sign that invites people to Mt. Fuji. We would like to express our gratitude to Shigeru Ban Architectural Design and everyone else who helped us collaborate.

Design intent
This is a signage plan for the Gifu-Kamigahara Aviation and Space Museum. The museum has the largest collection of aircraft and spacecraft in Japan.
The location of the museum is Gifu Prefecture The history of aerospace industry in Kakamigahara City is long, and many aircrafts were born here from prewar days to the present day. The materials and technology used in the development of such aircraft are utilized in the museum's signage. The sign on display was carved out of a solid aluminum plate, and the craftsmen worked on each piece by hand to create the surface of the sign by marking, riveting, and hand-papering. The signboard in the common area is anodized in blue. The presence and affinity of the sign when it is placed with the actual machine makes it a sign where the technology and passion of the engineers can be felt.

We attempted to develop a sign panel that makes full use of industrial technology, so that the next generation of industrial leaders can feel the passion of our engineers. The expression of the materials and the technical expression of the marking and riveting, which were verified down to the millimeter, are the result of the dedication of the design and production team, who continued to make samples until they were satisfied, and we saw the engineers in action. We are pleased that this has led to such an evaluation, and we are grateful to everyone involved. We also hope that the exhibition will inspire the children who see it to dream about their future.
