On Wednesday, July 25, 2018, Tanseisha (hereinafter, "our company") and NTT Docomo, Inc. (hereinafter, "Docomo") agreed to collaborate on creating spatial value by combining our company's spatial creation know-how with Docomo's ICT technologies and solutions, such as Mobile Spatial Statistics®, to promote digital transformation.
We view real space as the only "medium of experience" and will use DOCOMO's ICT technologies and solutions to create spaces in the wide range of fields in which we work, to generate new communications and provide businesses and customers with spaces where they can have richer, higher quality experiences.
This collaboration is part of the "B2B2X Model," the NTT Group's collaboration promotion concept aimed at creating new services.

Background of the collaboration
As "professionals in spatial creation," we support business owners in solving their problems and work to create moving spaces in Commercial Spaces such as stores, Cultural Spaces such as museums, and Event Spaces such as exhibitions. In 2017, we established the Cross Media Incubation Center, a team specializing in spatial Spatial Production, and in May 2018, we opened Konan Lab Mark Three [Mk_3], a research, development, and demonstration center for spatial Spatial Production technology, with the aim of creating new value through the collaboration of space and technology.
Based on its Mid-Term Strategy 2020 "Declaration Beyond," DOCOMO is looking beyond 2020 and aims to achieve the collaborative creation of new value by exceeding customer expectations together with its business partners.
In recent years, spatial design has been rapidly evolving into diverse experiential content through the fusion of digital and technology against the backdrop of an increase in inbound tourism (travel to Japan) and a shift from material consumption to experience consumption. In response to these changes, our company and DOCOMO have agreed to collaborate to create new user experiences in space.
Details of the collaboration
(1) By utilizing big data from Mobile Spatial Statistics (※1), we aim to quantitatively grasp time-dependent changes in population distribution and information on people's movements, thereby providing effective consulting and planning services for transportation hubs such as stations and airports, as well as Tourism facilities such as museums and factory tour facilities.
(2) By combining xR (※2), drones, and ultra-realistic Video experiences using 5G (※3), we aim to create unprecedented spatial Spatial Production in exhibition spaces such as museums and Showrooms, and provide customers with new and moving experiences.
(3) By using IoT (*4) and AI (*5) to analyze and utilize data on people's activities and equipment status in the space, we aim to propose new ways of using spaces, such as promoting work style innovation in office spaces and improving the efficiency of maintenance and sales promotion in stores.
The two companies will begin collaborating in transportation hubs such as stations and airports, Tourism facilities such as museums and factory tour facilities, and Showrooms, and plan to gradually expand to other fields such as office space, shopping centers, stores, restaurants, accommodation facilities, amusement facilities, medical facilities, and events.
