We are pleased to announce that the Yokote City Masuda Manga Museum, which we helped create the space, won the bronze award at the 53rd Japan Sign Design Awards (sponsored by the Japan Sign Design Association). In addition, the following cases were selected for each Award.
This award is a well-known honor in the industry, and aims to promote and raise awareness of sign design. High-quality sign design works are solicited, judged, and awarded to outstanding works. We would like to express our gratitude to our customers who gave us this opportunity, as well as to everyone who cooperated with us throughout the various processes.
Going forward, we will continue to keep in mind the perspective of those who will use the space and work to create rich spaces that can contribute to our customers' businesses.

[Design intent]
The design combines real "things" in real space with the various elements, mechanisms, and rules that make up manga, allowing visitors to enjoy the medium of "manga" as they move between the world of manga and the real world. In addition, we attempted a simple yet memorable color design, using the monotone of the original monochrome drawings as the base and using yellow, which gives a refreshing and active impression, as an accent color.

The Manga Museum, which opened as part of a complex, has been expanded and renovated to cover the entire building.
In expanding the facility, we discussed with the client how much of a manga-like playfulness we could incorporate not only into the exhibition space but into the entire facility as well, down to the small details such as the cafe menu and fonts.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone involved, and we hope that this museum will become a facility that inherits Japan's manga culture and spreads the appeal of manga to the world, and is loved by the local community, Japan, and the world.
