The Rebuilding Project of Toyama Bank-Japan Local Bank's Head Office, which we designed and produced, has won a Special Mention in the "Excellent Architecture" category (Interior Architecture) of the German Design Award 2021.
The German Design Award is an internationally prestigious design award organized by the German Design Council. Only those recommended by the German Design Council are eligible to receive the award, provided they have received other international design awards, so even being nominated is considered an honor. Our company's "Museum of Environmental History, Fujinokuni" won the "Winner" award at the German Design Award 2018, and our "Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum East Building" won a "Special Mention" at the German Design Award 2019.
The Toyama Bank New Head Office is the second overseas design Award to receive this award, following the Gold Award at the MUSE Design Awards 2020, an international design award held in the United States.
We will continue our efforts to create rich spaces so that we can contribute to our customers' businesses, while keeping in mind the perspectives of those who use our spaces.
