"NEXSTO: Next Generation Store Idea Contest 2022" to be held

Danshosha will be holding the "NEXSTO - Next Generation Store Idea Contest 2022" (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") for the second time following last year, starting on Friday, July 22nd.

This contest is calling for submissions from individuals and corporations alike for ideas for "next-generation stores" that will make customers feel excited and excited about visiting stores, as new era keywords such as digital, technology, SDGs, and sustainability are driving a transformation in the way stores are run. This time, a new "Student Award" has been created, with the aim of attracting more submissions from the younger generation.

Through this contest, Tanseisha will create an opportunity for various people to think about creating new stores, inviting Tanseisha's clients, such as select shops and restaurant chains, as judges, and together with Tanseisha's designers, exploring the possibility of realizing stores that incorporate excellent ideas. The idea that was selected as the best award from many applications last year is currently being verified with the client with a view to realizing it. Tanseisha has continued to expand the field of space creation with its ability to read the times, and will promote open innovation that creates next-generation stores together with clients, challenging itself to create new spaces that can only be created as Comprehensive display business that handles the creation of a wide variety of spaces.

Background of the event

As a pioneer in spatial creation within the chain store business, Tanseisha has worked to create Japan's leading select shops and restaurant chains. This contest will widely solicit ideas for creating new spatial experiences suitable for the next generation of stores. As part of its open innovation initiative, Tanseisha's clients will also participate as judges, and Tanseisha's project managers, designers and Cross Media Innovation Headquarters, who promote spatial creation, will work with the clients to explore the possibility of introducing and realizing the best ideas in actual stores.
