Comments by the judges

● Taisuke Uegakiuchi (Design Center Principal Creative Director)
This is the third time that "NEXSTO - Next Generation Store Idea Contest" has been held. This year's theme is "Comfort." Perhaps reflecting the current social climate, last year's theme was "Excitement," and many of the ideas involved solving small problems in real life that led to creativity. However, this year we saw many ideas that were a step forward to enrich our lives. There were also many entries from creative professionals, and we are pleased that they have taken an interest in Tanseisha's award activities. We sensed the desire of the volunteers to get together and get involved in society through creativity. We hope that "NEXSTO" can become a place where such feelings can be realized.

Akihiro Suzuki (General Manager, Spatial Media Produce Division 1, CMI Center)
Perhaps influenced by the theme of "comfort," this year's contest attracted a wide range of applicants, from professionals to students studying design and creativity, and even people from different industries and fields who are not normally involved in store creation. It was a valuable opportunity to interact with a diverse range of applicants, including clients from a variety of industries. It's not just the visible designs and creativity, but the wonderful mechanisms and ideas that move people that really allowed me to feel the diversity and potential of the spatial medium. Thank you very much.
