Tanseisha will be exhibiting at Digital Signage Japan 2018 (DSJ2018), which will be held at Makuhari Messe from June 13th to 15th, 2018. In their exhibition booth, they will be showcasing for the first time content promoting "Japanese food and food culture" to both Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; and Ministry of Economy international audiences, in a space that uses cutting-edge Video technology.

DSJ2018 will focus on the diverse roles of digital signage, and will be an exhibition where visitors can see the latest technology and applications. Tanseisha is participating in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' initiative to promote "Japanese food and food culture" both domestically and internationally under the auspices of Japan International Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (NHK Group), and will create a realistic, immersive experience space with a Japanese restaurant Spatial Production and Video by Canon's Real 4K projector. Starting with Tanseisha's booth this time, we will continue to provide environmental support at overseas exhibitions and other events, and contribute to the promotion of Japanese food culture with our spatial Spatial Production technology.

Exhibition Booth Overview

Based on Tanseisha's unique perspective of "spatial thinking," which considers digital signage to be one with the creation of the space, the booth will feature four scenes - "talking," "getting excited," "knowing," and "feeling" - based on a storyline that matches the visitor's feelings. The booth Spatial Production convey information and communicate in accordance with each location and scene, likening the time it takes for a Tourism to walk through the city and enjoy a Japanese meal at a traditional restaurant.
The site Video Production and an immersive spatial Spatial Production that utilizes a unique high-speed browsing system, and will broadcast content from a project* undertaken by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; and Ministry of Economy to promote "Japanese food and food culture" both domestically and internationally.

Tanseisha's digital signage and other Spatial Production technology initiatives

As spatial Spatial Production-related businesses associated with interior construction-related businesses are expanding, Tanseisha launched a specialized department in the field of spatial Spatial Production, the Cross Media Incubation Center, in February 2017. In August of the same year, the company strengthened its spatial Spatial Production capabilities by entering into a business partnership with Ashurascope Installation Co., Ltd., which has the latest technology specialized in Video Production.
In addition, we have established a new facility called Konan Lab Mk_3, where we will develop and test spatial Spatial Production technology that applies cutting-edge content, including digital signage, and will be working with professionals in various fields to create Spatial Production value for the space.

This project aims to effectively spread the appeal of "Japanese food and food culture" by utilizing cutting-edge Video technology such as AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality), which are cutting-edge technologies that are widely used mainly by the millennial generation that will lead the next generation. In order to widely disseminate "Japanese food and food culture" and expand the base of those interested, we will promote productions that use cutting-edge Video technology and other cutting-edge methods at events, etc., and lead to stimulating demand.

*Tanseisha is contributing to this project, officially named "FY2017 Export Promotion Emergency Measures Commissioned Project for Emergency Demand Expansion Due to TPP/EU etc. (Promoting Japanese food using the latest Video technology)," by creating spaces that utilize its Spatial Production techniques.
