Details of the experience that will be available at "Super Cultural Festival 2025" (hereinafter "this event"), an event hosted by Tanseisha to present the results of research activities in a "voluntary practice project" led by young employees who are expanding the possibilities of space through Spatial Production technology and ideas, have been decided. The event will be held over three days from November 26th (Wed) to 28th (Fri), 2025, at Konan Lab Mk_3, Tanseisha's research, development, and demonstration center for spatial production technology.
This event, led by young employees from Tansei's CMI Center* and collaborating with external partners to present their efforts to create new "experience value," will feature four original pieces of content created specifically for the Chobunka Festival 2025, including "Kikoema Sushi," a game that lets you experience ultra-directional speakers, and "Dive into the tales: Alice in Wonderland," an XR content using a head-mounted display.
Tanseisha will continue to take on the challenge of combining the technology and know-how to "create a space" with the technology and ideas to "color time," such as ICT and Spatial Production techniques, in order to expand the new possibilities of space.
*CMI Center (Cross Media Innovation Center): A specialized spatial Spatial Production team within Tansei Corporation that was established in February 2017. By combining technology, ideas, diverse personalities and expertise, the team pursues the possibilities of space and creates moving experiences that move people's hearts.
As there are preparations and arrangements to be made, please be sure to make an appointment with one of our staff members before coming to our office.
Details of the content you can experience at "Super Cultural Festival 2025"
Hear the order and deliver the sushi! Ultra-directional speaker x space x body "Kikoema Sushi"
Cooperation: Ray Co., Ltd.
This game uses super-directional speakers to search for sounds in space and quickly serve ordered sushi. Super-directional speakers are primarily used in art galleries and museums to deliver sound only to a specific area in a space to prevent sound mixing. This time, we reversed the use of super-directional speakers and aimed to create a unique experience of "auditory exploration" by using multiple super-directional speakers simultaneously to search for sounds in a space. Our employees were involved in the process of this project, from conception and proposal to sound verification and design.
Your fingertips will become athletes! A new type of sports game, "YU-MO SPORTS - YUBILIMPICS 2025 -"
Cooperation: Tsukuba University of Technology, Kosuke Funayama "Finger Spelling Recognition"
"YU-MO" is a diversity content that allows you to experience the daily life of a hearing-impaired person. This third installment of the YU-MO series, which combines "YU-MO Light" that uses finger spelling recognition technology, will bring you a new sports experience where you aim for a gold medal using finger spelling.
Our employees are in charge of planning, character design, and game production, and the finger spelling recognition system uses "Finger Spelling Recognition Kun," an AI system developed by Mr. Funayama of Tsukuba University of Technology. We hope you will look forward to this new sports game that combines cutting-edge AI technology with our unique creativity.
Let's all enter the world of fairy tales! Super Pop-up Picture Book XR "Dive into the tales ~Alice in Wonderland Edition~"
This is an XR content that can be enjoyed with the whole body, where you wear a head-mounted display and explore the world of the timeless classic "Alice in Wonderland" by actually walking around with Alice.
Using "Free Roam VR," which allows multiple users to experience a virtual world while freely roaming within a physical space, we created XR content that combines both virtual and real spaces, allowing users to immerse themselves in the story of "Alice in Wonderland." Our employees were involved in all processes, from planning, verification, design, development, and operation.
"Nekokaigi" audio guide using a high-precision positioning system
Cooperation: Pixie Dust Technologies Inc., HWP Inc.
"When you own a cat, the cat owns you"
This is an exhibition and audio AR content that allows visitors to become a cat and participate in cat society, experiencing the strange relationship between humans and cats.
Utilizing a high-precision indoor positioning system using Bluetooth communication, we have created an audio AR guide that can be listened to simply by approaching the exhibit with a device. While listening to the audio guide, you can view the original cat-related exhibit, which was created together with Tanseisha's cat-loving employees. In addition to planning, organizing, and producing the exhibit, we are also responsible for app development.
