The East Building of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which we designed and produced, has been selected as a Finalist in the Museum/Exhibition Space category of the 2018 FX International Interior Design Awards.
The FX International Interior Design Awards 2018 is a design award given to outstanding interior products and projects, sponsored by the British design magazine FX, which has a history of over 20 years. This is the second time that our company has been selected for the award, following our design for the Fujinokuni Museum of Earth Environmental History, which won the Grand Prize in the Museum/Exhibition Space category at the FX International Interior Design Awards 2016.
The award-winning Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum East Building has received various awards in Japan, including the Grand Prize at the DSA KUKAN DESIGN AWARD 2017, the Grand Prize at the 36th Display Industry Award (2017), and the Sign Design Encouragement Award at the 51st Japan Sign Design Awards, as well as the 2017 Best of Year Awards (USA), 2017 IIDA Global Excellence Awards (USA), iF DESIGN AWARD 2018 (Germany), and German Design Award 2019 (Germany).
Going forward, we will continue to keep in mind the perspective of those who will use the space and work to create rich spaces that can contribute to our customers' businesses.
