The East Building of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which we designed and produced, received a Special Mention in the "Excellent Communications Design" category (Interior Architecture) of the German Design Award 2019.
The German Design Award is an internationally prestigious design award organized by the German Design Council. Only those recommended by the German Design Council are eligible to receive the award, provided they have received other international design awards, so even being nominated is considered an honor. This is the second year in a row that our company has been selected, following the "Winner" award at the German Design Award 2018 for our "Museum of Environmental History, Fujinokuni."
The award-winning "Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum East Building" has previously received the Grand Prize of the "DSA KUKAN DESIGN AWARD 2017," the Grand Prize of the "36th Display Industry Award (2017)," and the Sign Design Encouragement Award at the "51st Japan Sign Design Awards," as well as the "2017 Best of Year Awards" (USA), the "2017 IIDA Global Excellence Awards" (USA), and the "iF DESIGN AWARD 2018" (Germany).
Going forward, we will continue to keep in mind the perspective of those who will use the space and work to create rich spaces that can contribute to our customers' businesses.
