About the Project

Overview ZOZOCOLLE was the first real event held by the online fashion shopping site ZOZOTOWN. It was held at Makuhari Messe on September 15-16, 2012 as a fashion exhibition with the distinctive feature of pre-order sales. At the venue, visitors could try on and pre-order the latest fashions and venue-exclusive products before they hit the shelves in stores, as well as special events such as various workshops and shows by various brands.
Issues/Themes Our goal is to express the ZOZOTOWN worldview in a real space and create a "ZOZOTOWN-like" place where visitors can feel surprised.
Space Solution/Realization The story was set that "visitors are specially invited to the loading and unloading of new product transport containers as buyers," and the venue space was composed of containers. This created a space where visitors could experience the exclusivity and worldview of buyers who purchase directly from brands. In addition, while the basic composition of the containers was monotone, each was designed to allow each brand to express its own unique worldview, creating a space that felt like a streetscape of brands within a unified overall space.
