An exhibition space where you can experience the future of "technology and life"
Photo: TOSHIHIDE KAJIHARA
| Overview | This is one of the signature pavilions that symbolizes the theme of the Osaka/Kansai Pavilion: "Designing a Future Society Where Life Shines." The pavilion will depict the future we are heading towards through "robot and AI technology" that expands human potential, "medical technology" that extends healthy lifespan, and "environmental and energy technology" that promotes harmony with nature. |
|---|---|
| Issues/Themes | Based on the concept of "imagining the future of technology and life," we aim to create an attractive space and effective Spatial Production that will stimulate visitors' imaginations and allow them to imagine the future world from their own perspectives. |
| Space Solution/Realization | To realize a design that would stimulate the imagination of visitors, a virtual space was created on a computer based on the production team's image. From the perspective of an actual visitor, simulations and revisions were repeated many times to create a space that integrated space, Video, and Spatial Production. |
| Design for Environment | Safety design: We have taken safety measures to address all kinds of risks, anticipating a different number of visitors and visitors with different literacy levels than those at ordinary facilities. Cultural property Preservation Planning: In areas that house replicas and exhibits created by Living National Treasures, careful consideration was given to and construction was carried out mainly regarding the distance between visitors and exhibits and the securing of materials. |
