KOKUYO exhibited the "Future Post Office Experience Hall," a post office-themed concept exhibition and shop, at the Japan Industry Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It introduced features such as vending machines that could purchase any product or service, and a remote two-way network that could connect to any region, with the aim of allowing visitors to experience "the expanding possibilities of post offices in the future." <br /> <br /> With a base color palette of white and silver and blue Spatial Production, a neutral, clean atmosphere was designed. Effective use of Video created a flow within the space, Spatial Production a cheerful, futuristic feel unique to the World Expo.

About the Project

Overview The "Future Post Office Experience Center" is a post office-themed concept exhibit and shop that KOKUYO exhibited at the Japan Industry Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010. It aims to let visitors experience "the expanding possibilities of the post office in the future" by showcasing vending machines that can buy any product or service, and a remote two-way network that can connect to any region.

The design used white and silver as the base colors, along with blue Spatial Production to create a neutral and clean atmosphere. Effective use of Video created a flow in the space, Spatial Production a bright and futuristic feel that is unique to the Expo.
