| Overview | This is the first exhibition held by the manga magazine app "Shonen Jump+", which launched in September 2014, to commemorate its 10th anniversary. Focusing on representative works from the past 10 years, such as "SPY×FAMILY," "Kaiju No. 8," and "Dandadan," visitors can experience "Shonen Jump+" in various forms, including illustrations, Video, and three-dimensional sculptures. |
|---|---|
| Issues/Themes | Taking advantage of the characteristics of a manga magazine "app" that handles a large number of works, the aim is to create an exhibition that is different from other manga exhibitions and can only be seen at the "Shonen Jump+ Exhibition". The goal is to incorporate features that will make even those who regularly use the app love "Shonen Jump+" even more after actually visiting the venue. |
| Space Solution/Realization | The doors to the "Special Theater" are shaped like smartphones, allowing visitors to dive into an app and immerse themselves in the world of manga. In addition, dynamic, interactive exhibits were set up throughout the venue, focusing on representative works from the past 10 years, such as "SPY×FAMILY," "Kaiju No. 8," and "Dandadan." Furthermore, the exhibition showcases diverse works across different genres and artists, using various approaches such as "famous quotes," "heart-pounding moments," and "school newspapers." The aim was to create an exhibition that would pique the interest of visitors who came with a specific purpose, and encourage them to explore works they hadn't yet seen. |
