About the Project

Overview For the renovation of the flagship street-front store of Ginza Bunmeido, a long-established castella shop, we developed a design based on the concept of "neo-classical Japanese."
A fresh Japanese atmosphere has been created by arranging traditional Japanese materials, such as plaster crests that solemnly convey the skills of Japanese confectioners, in a tranquil black setting.
Design for Environment Located next to the Kabukiza Theater, we placed particular emphasis on barrier-free access, aiming to create a store that would be loved widely and for a long time.
