Renewal of flagship street store with "neo-classical Japanese" concept
For the renovation of the flagship street-front store of Ginza Bunmeido, a long-established castella cake shop, we developed a design based on the concept of "neo-classical Japanese." <br /> We created a fresh Japanese space by placing arranged traditional Japanese materials, such as "plaster crests" that solemnly convey the skills of Japanese confectionery artisans, within a tranquil black setting.
