About the Project

Overview TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO is Japan's premier entertainment complex, themed around sports, mobility, and sustainability, and based on the concept of "Betting on Possibilities." We were involved in creating the spaces in multiple areas, with the aim of developing a new "sports spectator culture" in Japan. The design is based on the idea of "combining the exhilaration of various forms of entertainment, including sports, with a sophisticated, authentic, high-quality feel and the essence of Tokyo," and has created Hospitality Spaces that will satisfy visitors throughout the entire building.

Located on the third floor of the Hospitality Area, the private room zone consisting of 16 suites and the Champagne Collet Party Lounge is a private space that can also be rented for business use, with a calm space designed to deepen friendships, creating a comfortable and special atmosphere. The view from the bowl side was also taken into consideration, creating a design that emphasizes the special atmosphere of the Hospitality Area.
Issues/Themes We had to consider what characteristics to give to the floors of the multi-layered arena, and how to position them within the overall structure, taking into account their balance. We approached the design after discussing the needs of users and the value that should be provided.
Space Solution/Realization The spatial design was designed to enhance the sense of excitement felt when looking out over the court and center-hung screen from inside the room. The CHAMPAGNE COLLET PARTY LOUNGE has a distinctive landing floor that conveys a sense of exhilaration and exclusivity when entering, and indirect lighting enhances the atmosphere for users to deepen their friendships. The 16 suites have two layout patterns, allowing guests to deepen their friendships in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy meals and watching the game.
