About the Project

Overview The museum, which opened in 2013 as part of Yanmar's 100th anniversary celebrations, has been completely renovated with the concept of "Let's give it a try! An exciting future challenge" under the direction of Kashiwa Sato, creative director of the company's rebranding project, as general producer. The existing building has been partially expanded, and the content has been almost completely renewed. Yanmar is in charge of Display Planning, Design, Layout, Production, Construction, and system and Content Planning and production. The museum features content themed around Yanmar's business fields and the society it aims to create, and visitors can take home the spirit of challenge that has been passed down for many years through a variety of experiences.
Issues/Themes As a facility that embodies our branding activities and that inherits the spirit of challenge that has been passed down since our founding, we hope to convey to children not only our business activities and history, but also a message for the next 100 years.
Space Solution/Realization In parallel with creating the space, we created content that accurately embodied the concept by promoting a consistent Produce / Direction system for all of the museum's content, from setting the theme to planning, development, and production. In addition, by linking each piece of content with a point system, we created a system that made children want to actively try more content.
