About the Project

Overview The lounge at Daito Trust Construction's head office, directly connected to Shinagawa Station, has been renovated. It is now a "communication lounge" where people can freely interact in an open space that makes the most of the view and encounter new information and ideas.
The existing "communication area" and "exhibition area" were separated by walls and renovated into a single space. The space has been reborn as a base for creating real contact points with customers and building better relationships.
Issues/Themes In addition to enhancing the basic functions of a lounge, we will also set up an exhibition space that will serve as a catalyst for communication, creating a space with the originality that is characteristic of Daito Trust Construction.
Space Solution/Realization [Space configuration]
Exhibits with a large amount of information are concentrated on the walls, while smaller exhibits divided by topic are scattered around the center of the floor. This allows visitors to naturally encounter Daito Trust Construction's initiatives as they wander around the lounge.
[Originality]
The cross-sectional pattern of the CLT used by Daito Trust Construction was used as a graphic pattern, and this unique design was incorporated throughout the space, including the logo, counter, and walls.
