A workplace where people can come into contact with the company's identity and products, and where they can interact and take on new challenges.
| Overview | This was a renovation of the headquarters of Kyowa Leather Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of synthetic leather and film products, primarily for automotive interior coverings. With factories and a technical center nearby, the headquarters building, which serves as the face of the company, was not merely renovated to address the aging issues, but was designed to be a workplace that can "take on the challenges" of a new era. A free address system was adopted, and a distinctive space was created that would naturally attract employees working in the factory and in a separate building. |

| Issues/Themes | Creating an environment that encourages active communication among employees and speeds up decision-making. In an era of major changes in the social environment, we must create an environment that changes awareness and work styles and allows us to respond quickly to social needs and changes. |
| Space Solution/Realization | We have also created an innovation environment, with co-creation spaces and open workspaces, that will allow employees to germinate new ideas among themselves, with customers and partner companies. Furthermore, we have created a system for circulating stimulation in the head office, where everyone can sense the company's identity, naturally come into contact with products, and try out and present ideas, and this is expressed through the spatial design. To make the entire building feel like showrooms, we have scattered designs using our own products, aiming to help employees acquire cross-sectional knowledge and increase their motivation. |
