About the Project

Overview Sendai City Museum has a large collection of actual materials, including national treasures. The museum has been zoned into a space for viewing the materials and a space for introducing historical information, aiming to create an environment where visitors can concentrate on viewing the materials.

For the display cases, we have introduced the actual "LED-based lighting for museum display cases" developed by Tanseisha for the first time. This not only solves the problem of multiple shadows on exhibits that are generated by multi-lamp LED lighting, but also makes the illuminance on the case walls more uniform, creating a lighting environment that makes it easier for visitors to see the exhibits. As a result, our company has been certified as a model business in the "2009 Energy-Saving Lighting Design Model Project (sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment)." In addition, we are proactively adopting energy-saving lighting, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Design for Environment The permanent exhibition room was completely renovated with the use of "LED MUSEUM CP".
This improves the browsing environment and reduces the environmental impact.
