About the Project

Overview This shop has a cafe attached to it, run by Western confectionery manufacturer "YOKU MOKU." Located in front of the ticket gates at the Yaesu underground central exit of Tokyo Station, it is an open space that you can walk through, and has a casual operation with self-service and face-to-face service that caters to a wide range of customers, making it an easy-to-use store.
Issues/Themes The goal was to create a street-level model store that would be easier to use and more casually maintain the store design philosophy of YOKU MOKU's flagship Aoyama main store.
Space Solution/Realization The façade is made of blue tiles, which are the symbol of "YOKU MOKU". In the sales area, the shelves and fixtures are decorated with a logo border reminiscent of gift ribbons, and the products are highlighted with spotlights. The cafe space is made of glass, creating a space that is easy to use.
