Overview | The Kabukiza Tower was completed at the same time as the reborn Kabukiza. The Kabukiza Gallery is located on the fifth floor. It is a cultural facility where people of all ages and nationalities can experience the world of Kabuki even on days when there are no performances at the Kabukiza, and enjoy the charms of traditional Japanese culture. |

Issues/Themes | The theme is "Spring." Using actual stage props, we will create a spectacular Spatial Production that will captivate visitors, befitting our first special exhibition. |
Space Solution/Realization | The entire venue was decorated in spring attire, using items that were actually used on stage, such as the "hanging cherry blossom branches" that covered the entire ceiling against the backdrop of the Yoshiwara Nakanomachi props, folding fans arranged to look as if they were swaying in the spring breeze, a Yoshiwara cherry blossom hedge, the costume of Sukeroku's lover Agemaki from "Sukeroku Yuen Edo Sakura," and flower circles painted on various props. By being able to see the actual props up close, the venue was Spatial Production to create a cheerful atmosphere, as if visitors were standing on a Kabuki stage in full bloom in spring. |
