About the Project

Overview This is the world's first "super-immersive museum of nature," born from a joint project that combines Sega's innovative entertainment with the expertise and Video Production capabilities of BBC EARTH, which has been filming the mysteries of the Earth and nature for the past 50 years. The facility consists of an "Exhibition Zone" where you can experience the mysteries of nature with your whole body, and "Theater 23.4," which has a screen that is 40m wide and 8m high, one of the largest in Japan. It is a facility that can be enjoyed by three generations, from children to seniors.
Issues/Themes Our goal is to create a completely new type of museum that offers the ultimate immersive experience by combining the space of the facility Video of nature and a variety of sensory Spatial Production that can only be achieved in a real space.
Space Solution/Realization In addition to Execution Design, Production, Construction of the space, we also provided total support for the introduction of various Spatial Production techniques, such as vibration devices, 3D sound Spatial Production, shock wave devices, 3D effects using fog screens, and scent Spatial Production, to smoothly advance the project. We created an entertainment space that is full of realism, making you feel as if you are in the midst of magnificent nature.
