| Overview | An entertainment museum where you can comfortably enjoy space from an unprecedented perspective, as if it were something close to you. The sixth floor of the Yellow Building, the entrance to Tokyo Dome City, has been renovated. It consists of a total of nine sections, including the large circular high-resolution theater "Sora" with a diameter of 11 meters, and "Science", an industry-academia collaboration project with The University Museum. |
|---|---|
| Issues/Themes | In order to attract a new customer base, we decided to create a facility based on the theme of "space," which appeals to a wide range of people, by combining the entertainment elements that Tokyo Dome excels at with academic and cultural elements, which would be a new challenge. |
| Space Solution/Realization | We aimed to create an unprecedented facility that targets a wide range of customers and allows them to enjoy space from the perspective of a human-mediated universe, an extension of everyday life. In the early stages of planning, we established a mind story about how to excite visitors. Based on that, we incorporated projection mapping and a high-resolution theater, collaborated with creators from a variety of genres, and were in charge of total Direction from software to hardware. We worked closely with our client, Tokyo Dome, to develop the content from scratch, sharing our mutual know-how. |
