About the Project

Overview Located in the "Red Brick Terrace" in the center of Sapporo, this cafe restaurant has a concept of "ALL THE DAY - from morning to night". This is a new business venture by "Peche Mignon", a famous French pastry shop in Hakodate. "Peche Mignon" is a French word that means "a small sin" to describe the tendency to overindulge in sweet treats, while "Peche Grand" means "a big sin". It is a comfortable space where you can enjoy not only sweets, but also meals and drinks to your heart's content.
Issues/Themes As part of the new food and beverage business being developed by sweets chain Peche Mignon, the goal was to create a store that harmonizes the three elements of cafe, bistro, and sweets retailer while highlighting each of them.
Space Solution/Realization "Peche" represents "sin" in religious terms, so Spatial Production a unique atmosphere that evokes the image of churches and chapels, evoking a gothic and romantic atmosphere. Unlike the cute, white image of Peche Mignon, which sells sweets, we have created an image of a calm, mature person enjoying alcohol. Based on the theme of "sin," we have created a store with a new worldview that has a mysterious charm.
