About the Project

Overview This is an outdoor-focused commercial complex that aims to create a new style of commercial facility where you can experience the charm of the outdoors. The site of a former airplane factory has been regenerated, and it is an "experiential commercial space" that can only be experienced here, with objects that incorporate the memory of the land and experiential activities.
Issues/Themes To create an experience-oriented facility specializing in the outdoors. As a redevelopment project on the site of a former aircraft factory, to incorporate the memories of the land into Environmental Design and to create a place that connects the past to the future.
Space Solution/Realization Based on the client's plans, we carried out design consulting work at the planning stage to materialize the concept. In order to realize an experience-oriented facility specialized in the outdoors, we were involved in a wide range of work to create an experience-oriented environment, including not only a store but also an event plaza, a 200m mini trekking course, a grassy plaza, and a pond. At the same time, we incorporated the memory of the land into Environmental Design, such as by using pillars from a demolished factory as objects.
