About the Project

Overview Nishitetsu Inn Hakata has been reborn as Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata, the first hotel under the new brand Croom of the Nishitetsu Hotel Group. The two previous room types have been revamped to include Premium Business, Premium Double, Premium Twin, Premium Ladies, and Single. In addition, the common areas such as the lobby and large communal bath have also been renovated, making the hotel a comfortable place to stay for a wider range of guests.
Issues/Themes The goal is to create a facility that can meet the diverse needs of customers and expand the customer base beyond the traditional business travelers. Also, to create a space that is not just for resting but also "where you can spend your time energetically, like at home while traveling."
Space Solution/Realization Based on the design concept of "second home," warm natural materials are used in the lobby to allow guests to relax in a comfortable atmosphere. We also have a corner displaying local crafts and books, and an iPad and printer available for use, creating a space where guests can spend their time however they like. The guest rooms are divided into five room types to suit different targets, with designs and facilities tailored to each individual need.
