About the Project

Overview This office renovation project by the Development Business Division aimed to create an office environment where each employee could achieve their ideal work-life balance. As a challenging developer that values people, we embodied the concept of "DELIGHT - Bringing brilliance and joy to your work style" that we have set forth in our office building business, and created a workplace that will serve as a base for improving the working environment and contributing to increasing employee engagement.
Issues/Themes Aiming to break away from outdated working styles, we will consider and implement necessary software changes along with hardware changes. Improve the working environment by installing hardware that allows for group address operations. Reorganize the reception and waiting area into a space that provides a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
Space Solution/Realization The design concept was "Delightful ECHO," and the layout was based on three pillars: (1) allowing employees to choose their own place to work, (2) allowing traffic lines to intersect, and (3) making eye contact, in order to transform the office environment into one where each employee can shine and be filled with brilliance through mutual influence.By introducing a free address system and zoning the brainstorming area as the core of the work space, we have created a workplace where spontaneous communication is born.
Sustainable design By repurposing existing office furniture, we were able to reduce the amount of waste material to be disposed of, and proposed a circular design that reduces CO2 emissions. In addition, by displaying art at the entrance using soil generated from the construction of an apartment building, which is part of the owner's business, the design is considerate of the local environment.
